Under the Faster Capital-funded project in Fangak and Kapoeta South Counties, CERD installed 1 solarised water supply system in New Fangak, enabling 1,500 people (Men 403, women 482, Boys 317 and Girls 298) to access clean and safe drinking water.

The WASH project team upgraded 1 productive borehole into Mini solar powered water supply system that is now fully functional, supplying clean drinking water to 3,000 individuals (men 642, women 897, Boys 877 and Girls 584) and rehabilitated 12 Hand pumps and reached 6,000 people (Men 1,685, Women 2,344, Boys 1,089 and Girls 882) with clean drinking water.
CERD formed and trained 30 (men 14 and women 16) water user committee members to manage and sustain the rehabilitated/repaired boreholes in their respective locations.

CERD also Completed Construction of 10 (4 in New Fangak, 6 in Kapoeta) gender segregated Sanitation facilities in Fangak and Kapoeta mainly in areas crowded with IDPs and Host community. These areas targeted by the project have been affected by flooding and conflict that displaced thousands of people to areas without WASH services. 10 hand-washing stations were installed adjacent to the constructed blocks of latrines to encourage hand washing at the most critical times.
