Welcome to CERD

Community Emergency Response and Development (CERD) is a non-profit humanitarian and development organization established in 2021 and officially registered with the Relief and Rehabilitation Commission (RRC) and the relevant Government Ministries.

Our Thematic Area

01.

Food Security and Livelihood

Two WASH projects were implemented by CERD in 2024 to 2025.; Emergency WASH Response to floods-affected IDPs and Host Communities in Fangak County implemented between October 2024 and February 2025. This section highlights key achievements during FY2024 to 2025 for Faster Capital funded project

Water, Sanitation & Hygiene (WASH)

Within FY 2024 to 2025 the WASH department trained 70 hygiene promoters (men 25 and women 45). The hygiene promoters carried out hygiene promotion and mass awareness campaign in all the project target locations in Fangak and Kapoeta South Counties.

Peace Buidling

Integrated protection and Cross Border peace building Project activities

50 members (10 members in each Boma) of Project Management Committee with equal number of male and female established and played their roles and responsibilities throughout the year.

Gender Base Violence

Principles of Operation

  • There will be freedom of entry and partnership within and with the organization. To join and participate in the NGO in exercise of rights to free choice and of expression, peaceful assembly and association.
